Overview: Legna Software is seeking a Project Manager to join the Research & Development team as a Scrum Master/Release Manager. Primary responsibilities include managing the complete software delivery life cycle by working with the team from the planning phase to the deployment phase through the development and testing phases. You will work on a collaborative agile development team and help with development tasks providing meaningful contributions to the outputs of the team. Key responsibilities:

  • Track multiple concurrent projects; work with leadership to understand priorities and objectives
  • Manage development team resources and ensure all team members are adhering to engineering best practices as well as enforcing DevOps policies. Mentor and guide teams on Agile practices
  • Work with product/solutions and development teams to ensure projects are appropriately scoped
  • Ensure tasks are being completed timely with quality standard
  • Communicate appropriately with internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate all agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives etc.)
  • Lead Scrum teams with a focus on ensuring successful implementation
  • Maintain organized projects using DevOps
  • Be the key interface with engineering leads to estimate work, define project milestones and deliverables
  • Plan the release of project deliverables and release life cycle
  • Communicate the project-related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams
  • Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates. Track progress and work to improve the process of release
  • Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule
  • Plan and give weekly updates on the release activities
  • Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of project/program management experience managing medium to large software development projects, with a consistent record of delivering winning product constructs
  • 2+ years of Project Manager or Product Owner experience
  • 1+ years of Scrum Master experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills
